❤️ Hazel is a sold out, limited edition of only 500 by AK Kitagawa.Her torso was added (it’s from the “Americus” kit) to form a whole baby. We created the umbilical cord myself. It’s made of clay and is removable. ***no magnets***
❤️ She is a full body vinyl reborn that’s a one-of-a-kind, 3-D oil painted by me.
❤️ There are many, many layers of Genesis heat set paint and sealed with irresistible varnished skin.
❤️ The baby has all the newborn details: Mottling, undertones, veins/capillaries, blushing, slight milia, stork bites, lanugo (peach fuzz! On her ears, too!), scrapes and she has been glossed in all the right places including tears!
❤️ Notice her hands/feet are blue in color? That’s “acrocyanosos.” Caused by blood vessels constricting. Common after birth; especially when cold or crying. And the creamy white vernix on her skin…Nurse did wipe some off! 🙂
❤️ Hazel has ‘barely there’ eyelashes that were rooted in mohair as well as hair. Her hair has some varnish on it to give her the just born look. *blood also.*
❤️The baby was stuffed with polyfil, glass beads, and steel coated pellets for extra weight. ***HER LIMBS/HEAD IS SLIGHTLY LOOSE; NOT AS EASY TO MOVE AS REGULAR REBORNS. BUT, ITS GREAT TO POSE FOR DISPLAY ***
